AI-103 Beta Exam Result and General Availability Date Inquiry

I recently took the AI-103 exam while it is still in beta.

Could you please let me know when the AI-103 exam is expected to become generally available (live)? My understanding is that beta exam results are typically released approximately two weeks after the exam exits beta and becomes live.

I would like to know the expected timeline so I can estimate when my exam result will be available.

There is no fixed date. I would not expect beta results to be available until July

Exam AI-103 beta available in April 2026; training expected to be available in March 2026; exam expected to go live in June 2026.

If you’ve taken a beta exam, you’ll receive your score about 10 days after the exam becomes available worldwide or “goes live” -- approximately 10-12 weeks after the beta period begins. This time reflects a comprehensive process including statistically analyzing results and data, evaluating the performance of each question and reading and evaluating all comments provided during the beta exam. As a result, you may not receive a score for 14 weeks depending on when in the beta process you took the exam. Please note that the beta exam process and the time it takes to receive your results may vary.

The available information describes how beta exam timing works in general but does not provide a specific go‑live date for exam AI-103.

    For Microsoft beta exams:

    1. The beta period typically runs long enough to collect at least 250 qualified candidate results.
    2. After the beta period begins, the exam usually goes live approximately 10–12 weeks later.
    3. Scores for beta candidates are released about 10 days after the exam becomes available worldwide (goes live). Because of when an individual sits during the beta window, it can take up to about 14 weeks from the beta start before a given candidate receives a score.

Applied to AI-103, the expected pattern is:

    • AI-103 goes live roughly 10–12 weeks after its beta period starts.
    • Beta results for AI-103 are then released about 10 days after that live date.

To check whether the score should already be available once AI-103 is live:

    1. Go to the Learn profile and open the Certifications section.
    2. If at least 10 days have passed since AI-103 went live and no score appears, contact the exam delivery provider.
    3. If at least two weeks have passed since go‑live and the score still does not appear, contact Credentials support using the guidance in the beta exams article.
