    Hi Ariiieee,

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when it suddenly starts happening after everything worked fine before. When the mouse moves to the second monitor during gameplay, it usually means the game is not fully locking the cursor to the game window, even if it appears to be in fullscreen mode.

To narrow this down, could you please check a few things?

    • Does this happen only in Valorant, or does it happen in every game you play?
    • In the game’s video/display settings, is it set to Fullscreen, Borderless Windowed, or Windowed?
    • Did this start after a recent Windows update, graphics driver update, or game update?
    • Are you using any overlays or recording tools, such as Xbox Game Bar, Discord overlay, Steam overlay, NVIDIA/AMD overlay, or similar apps?

In the meantime, you can try these steps:

1, Open the game’s video/display settings and switch the display mode to Fullscreen or Exclusive Fullscreen if that option is available. Avoid Borderless Windowed or Windowed Fullscreen for testing.

2, Go to Settings > System > Display, make sure the monitor you play on is set as your main display, then check that the monitor layout matches your physical setup.

3, Try turning off Xbox Game Bar and background capture:

    • Go to Settings > Gaming > Game Bar and turn it off.
    • Then go to Settings > Gaming > Captures and turn off background recording options.

4, Temporarily disable other overlays, such as Discord, Steam, NVIDIA, AMD, or any screen recording tools, then restart the game and test again.

5, Update your graphics driver from the GPU manufacturer’s website. If the issue started right after a driver update, you can also try rolling back to the previous driver version.

6, As a temporary test, press Windows + P and choose PC screen only before launching the game.

If the issue only happens in specific games, it may also be worth checking whether those games have a setting like Lock cursor to window, Confine mouse cursor, or Raw input, as enabling that can help keep the mouse inside the game screen.

While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
