Hi,
I need to install visual studio 2015 to run some code from my company. However when I go to the webpage for older downloads
https://my.visualstudio.com/Downloads?q=visual%20studio%202015&wt.mc_id=o~msft~vscom~older-downloads
and try to download vs2015, the only option available is "with update 3", and when I try to install it, it says "update 3 requires a member of the visual studio 2015 family to be present". So I can't start. I am trying to find the original vs2015, but it's nowhere to be found. Can anyone help?

VS 2015, VS 2015 with Update 3 and VS 2015 Update 3 are different.
VS 2015 with Update 3 ≈ VS 2015 + VS 2015 Update 3. Since VS 2015 Update 3 is recommended, you may only see that "VS 2015 with Update 3" is available.
Are you going to download and install Community version of VS 2015? If so, you may check this thread: Visual Studio Community edition is missing from downloading.
If you are going to download and install Professional or Enterprise version of VS 2015, then please choose to download "Visual Studio Professional 2015 with Update 3" or "Visual Studio Enterprise 2015 with Update 3".

What solved this for me was to downloads the files linked by the accepted answer of this Stack Overflow post
