Hello

There is requirement to send 200K (bulk) emails on monthly basis as a part of business use-case. Checking what service is appropriate here: O365 vs Sendgrid vs Azure communication Services.

Also, I guess there is requirement to have tools compatability with respect to UES (Unified Email Service).

Please guide us

    Hi @Chandrakant Pawle ,

From the perspective of O365, it's not recommended to send bulk messages from Office 365. User's image

Reference: Exchange Online limits - Sending limits.

According to this blog, the recommended approach is to "send bulk email through on-premises email servers or use a third-party bulk email provider, which normally has a vested interest in working with customers to ensure good email sending practices."

    Thanks Yuki Sun-MSFT

We are also evaluating Azure communication Services for above scnario. Is it useful for sending bulk/mass emails and comply with UES (Unified Email Service)? Thanks

Chandrakant, Azure Communication Services (ACS) Email helps facilitates high volume transactional, bulk and marketing emails on the ACS platform and will enable Application-to-Person (A2P) use cases.

Sending a high volume of messages has a set of limitations on the number of email messages you can send. If you hit these limits, your messages won't be queued to be sent. You can submit these requests again, once the Retry-After time expires.

See: Azure doc section - Service limits for Azure Communication Services

You may review the Email limits mentioned in the Azure doc.
Having mentioned above, you may share more details about your requirement, and info about UES (Unified Email Service) needs.
