How do I add a user to be an administrator in my Azure platform?

I've invited someone to my Azure platform via Entra ID, through an external invitation. He has accepted it, and through Entra ID, I granted him Global Administrator privileges.

With all that done, how does he sign in to access? He tried going through portal.azure.com, but his email isn't accepted. Is there something I'm missing?

    @Alvin De Cruz

    Thank you for your post and I apologize for the delayed response!

    Once the user accepted your B2B invitation, they should be able to sign into the Azure portal using the email address and password that was used when they accepted the invitation. If your user is still having trouble signing in, you can try the following:

    1. Make sure the user is using the correct email address. Alternatively, the user can use their User Principal Name (UPN) if their email is causing issues.
    2. Make sure the user is using the correct password.
    3. If the user is still having trouble signing in, you can try resetting their password. To do this, select the user in the Azure portal, and then select Reset password. This should send a password reset link to the user's email address.

    Note: The user can use their *User Principal Name (UPN)* if their email is causing issues during sign-in. This will also ensure they're login into the correct MS Entra ID tenant.

    If the user is still having trouble signing in, can you share any error messages that they're receiving?

    as a summary

    To add a user as an administrator in Azure after inviting them through Entra ID, you should follow these steps:

    1. Log into the Microsoft Entra admin center as a User Administrator.
    2. Identity > Users > All users > New user > Invite external user.
    3. Fill in the user's identity details and set the User type as either Member or Guest.
    4. Assign the new user to Microsoft Entra roles
