Hi all!

When I set up Enterprise Branding in Azure AD, the background image is dimmed and when I paste it I get the message "The image will appear dimmed to improve contrast and readability"

How can I remove this shading?

    @igor polyakov @Igor Polyakov

    Here is your fix:

    1. download css template https://download.microsoft.com/download/7/2/7/727f287a-125d-4368-a673-a785907ac5ab/custom-styles-template-013023.css
    2. Change this section and then upload the CSS file.
    ext-background-overlay
    {
        /* Styles to make changes to the background overlay that adds opacity to the background image */
    	background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0) !important;
    }

    Hi @Igor Polyakov , when setting up Enterprise Branding in Azure AD, the background image may appear dimmed to improve contrast and readability, per the message you received. Unfortunately, there is no direct option to remove the shading from the Azure AD settings. However, you can try to adjust the brightness and contrast of your image using an image editor before uploading it to Azure AD. This way, even if the image appears dimmed, the overall appearance might be closer to your desired look. If you'd like you can submit a feature request here to change this.
