This happened with one of my clients who was using IOS. I had them clear the cache for all 365 apps installed on the phone. I had them uninstall the apps. They then installed the OneDrive app first and they were able to login. Once they OneDrive app was authenticated all other apps authenticated after that. They tried without authenticating OneDrive first and the issue persisted. I hope this helps with your particular situation.

The "Something went wrong (1001)" error in the Outlook app on a mobile device can be caused by various factors. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

    1. **Check Internet Connection:**
Ensure that your mobile device has a stable and active internet connection. Try accessing other websites or apps to confirm that your internet connection is working properly.

    2. **Update Outlook App:**
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the Outlook app on your mobile device. Outdated versions may have bugs or compatibility issues. Update the app from the official app store (Google Play Store for Android, App Store for iOS).

    3. **Clear App Cache and Data:**
For both Android and iOS devices, you can try clearing the cache and data of the Outlook app. This process may vary slightly between devices, but generally, you can find this option in the app settings.

    4. **Check Date and Time Settings:**
Ensure that the date and time settings on your mobile device are accurate. Incorrect date and time settings can sometimes cause authentication issues.

    5. **Verify Account Credentials:**
Double-check that you are entering the correct email address and password. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, make sure you are using the correct verification method.

    6. **Reinstall Outlook App:**
Uninstall the Outlook app from your mobile device and then reinstall it. This can help resolve any corrupted files or settings causing the error.

    Hi @Srinivas Palepu ,

I understand that you’re having trouble logging into the Outlook app on your mobile device. According to my search results, the error message “something went wrong (1001)” is a common issue that can occur when there is a problem with the app’s cache or when the app is corrupted. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Restart your mobile device and try logging in again.
    2. Clear the cache files of the Outlook app.
    3. If the issue persists, uninstall the Outlook app, restart your mobile device, and re-download the app.

If none of these steps work, it is suggested for you to try contacting the in-app support (see Get in-app help for Outlook for iOS and Android) or post a new thread to the dedicated forum for Outlook for mobile. (Please kindly understand that here we mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client and know little about Outlook for mobile)
