I have an environment set up in Azure, consisting in a hostpool with 4 session hosts. Employees connect to these using the Remote Desktop App to access applications remotely. Additionally, I have configured FSLogix for user profile persistence. The problem is that when I authenticate in Remote Desktop (using my Office 365 credentials), I need to re-enter my Office 365 credentials to open any Office applications, such as Word or Excel. Is this normal?

If I sign-in (again) 20 minutes later I get the error again, button "Continue" mean sign-in again.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community forum.

It seems that  you're experiencing an issue with credential persistence in your Azure environment. You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Try to upgrade to the latest version of FSLogix. FSLogix will provide hotfix releases which address current and potential bugs that impact customer deployments.
    2. Configure RoamIdentity registry entries:

    Open the registry editor.

    Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FSLogix\Profiles.

Create a new DWORD value and name it RoamIdentity.

    Set its value to 1.

This enables credential roaming and reduces repeat logins.

    1. Ensure that there are no network connectivity issues, which may result in lost sessions and need to re-authenticate.

    Reference:

Install FSLogix Applications - FSLogix | Microsoft Learn

Outlook Requires Password Every New Session - FSLogix - Microsoft Community Hub

    Best regards

    Jacen
