Will I need to complete Azure SQL fundamentals before DP 900?

I'm working in DB domain and having interest in learning DP 300. You suggested me to learn DP 900 first as I'm new to cloud. Can I start to learn DP 900 directly or should I need to learn Azure SQL fundamentals before DP 900?
