    Hi The Elixir Clinic

Yes, you can upgrade your Windows Server 2012 R2 to Windows Server 2016 or 2019 without losing any data. Here are the steps to upgrade:

    1. Take a backup of your server and ensure that you have a recovery plan in place.
    2. Download the Windows Server 2016 or 2019 ISO file from the Microsoft website.
    3. Mount the ISO file and run the setup.exe file.
    4. Select "Upgrade" option during the installation process.
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the upgrade process.
    6. After the upgrade is complete, verify that all your AD users, profiles, and files are intact.

It is recommended to test the upgrade process in a test environment before performing it on a production server. Also, make sure that all your applications and services are compatible with the new version of Windows Server before upgrading.
