Hello All,

I have created the azure free trial account recently. after 30 days over the free trial subscription is disabled. how to use azure free services next 11 months?

To continue using free services for remainder of 12 months since you signed up you need to upgrade to Pay-As-You-Go account:

Upgrade your Azure free account or Azure for Students Starter account

I did, and after 30 days, I upgraded to the pay-as-you-go subscription. I also created the VM (B1S) for two days. As per Microsoft Azure, the free limitation is 750 hours per month. The bill was generated.

I did, and after 30 days, I upgraded to the pay-as-you-go subscription. I also created the VM (B1S) for two days. As per Microsoft Azure, the free limitation is 750 hours per month. The bill was generated.

What, precisely, where you billed for? This will help figure out what change to make to avoid future charges.For example, when creating VM, you need to use Premium SSD 64GiB (P6) (locally-redundant storage) for the disk since that is what is included under Free account. Maximum of 2 P6 disks are free. If you use more than two P6 disks each month then there would be extra charge.

Another example, I don't think Public IP Address is included under Free, so if you use public IP address then there would be a charge for that.

If you navigate to your subscription and look at the free services grid, does it show you exceeding anything? Please refer to below link for reference (it has screenshot of grid I'm referring to):

Thanks for detailed explanation. I'm unable to the free service grid under subscription tab. I believe public ip address for azure vm free first 12 months.

Okay, you should have free services section on your subscription page.What, precisely, were you billed for? What charges appeared on your invoice? Were you billed for public IP? Something else?

Public IP address isn't on the list of free services. In my option a public IP should be included, but that doesn't mean it is. If you go to link below, scroll down some, next click on See all free services

Another way to see list of free services is in Azure portal, link below:

If your subscription isn't properly giving you the free services, then you will need to open a new billing support request. There is no charge for billing support. I can help you with steps to open billing support request
