Hi Jaap Brandsema,
When you switch from the Action Pack subscription to the new Partner Benefits package, your $2,400 in yearly Azure credits will show up as Azure Sponsorship in your subscription. This is normal because Microsoft uses Azure Sponsorship to track these credits.
To use the credits, you need to assign them to a user, who will then redeem them. Once redeemed, they apply to the chosen subscription. If you use up all the credits, the subscription automatically switches to Pay-As-You-Go billing.
When you renew your membership, you can apply the new credits to the same subscription. However, if your credits come from a new Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program purchase—like an Action Pack or legacy Silver/Gold membership—they must go into a new Azure subscription. In that case, you’ll need to move your resources to the new subscription to use the new credits.
