Hi everyone, I would like to ask a question out of curiosity about how Microsoft Azure DevOps Team handle patches, bugfixes and new feature for each version of AZDO Server available (2019,2020,2022).

Does they use Long-lived release branches for each version (2019,2020,2022) according to Release Branching Strategy?

Also, working for different clients (all operating on Azure DevOps Services), I notice that some Tenants have some features not present on others. Also for the SaaS version (Azure DevOps Services) are there different versions?

I thank anyone who will help me.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Microsoft uses long-lived release branches for each major version (e.g., 2019, 2020, 2022).

Some tenants may receive new features earlier than others due to phased rollouts or regional availability
