Hello there, I'm planning to move away the email security from Mimecast to Microsoft defender for Office 365, but I am a little confused with the Licenses I should use - I think I have mixture of E5 suite and F3+F5 security licenses. I believe both include Defender for O365 with them? Also, it would be great to see or hear any experience along with some guided steps to do it as I am not aware how Mimecast was setup to begin with.

    Hi Aravind Gopalakrishna

    1. To clarify your concern about Licensing, E5 and F5 do have MDO plans while F3 does not. Refer to below image from - Microsoft 365, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security, and Windows 11 SubscriptionsOr the Feature Matrix
    2. For a step by step guide - please refer to Microsoft Defender for Office 365 step-by-step guides.
