I'm using Excel 2024 Prof +.

I am trying to have the euro (€) symbol show up in some cells.

I've inserted Symbol, Alt - 0128, used the pull down menu under currency. Checked that my fonts have the € available and all I get is |

    Dear Dave Guttman

Thank you for your question in the Q&A forum.

Based on the information you provided, it seems you're having trouble displaying the euro (€) symbol in some cells in Excel 2024 Professional Plus. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

After researching and testing in my own environment (using Excel 365), I’d like to suggest a few troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the problem:

-Use the Currency Format with the Euro Symbol

    • Select the cell or range of cells where you want the euro symbol to appear.
    • Right-click and choose Format Cells.
    • Go to the Number tab and select Currency.
    • In the Symbol dropdown, choose € Euro.
    • Click OK.
