I am using a PC computer with Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. I have Copilot and use it often. Today, when I opened Copilot as usual, none of my prior messages with copilot are there. They are always there every time I open it so I can refer back to the, as needed. I have logged out of Copilot (still no messages) and back in. I have restarted my computer, still nothing. How can I get them back? (I also went to the command prompt and did a scan - sfc/ scannow - all OK, full virus scan, all OK, everything updated.) I do have Office 365, but just the regular version of Copilot. I generally just use Copilot from Microsoft Edge on the taskbar. Cash and Cookies were also cleared, full shutdown of my computer and restart. All prior Co-Pilot history of messages is just GONE!!!! AND whatever messages I do now with Copilot are not being save at all!!!! If I close the window and then open it, it is just gone! This is terrible!!! There was an update on 1-11-25 to Copilot.

Hello, CarolynLN,Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Thanks for your feedback, I noticed that you are experiencing issues with lost Copilot history.
This might be a temporary issue, as Copilot is currently making adjustments to features like conversation history. I've observed that some users who encountered this problem were able to see their history again after some time.
Therefore, I suggest you wait patiently for a while to see if this situation resolves itself.
Of course, Microsoft still values the opinions of all users very much. So, you can still provide your suggestions through the feedback button on the Copilot interface, which helps developers determine the further development plan.
Additionally, there is a community here that is more focused on the Copilot features.Microsoft LearnYou can communicate here to gain more experience and perhaps meet your usage habits.
I hope the above information can help you.

I have noticed this too! I'm using a corporate version of the copilot tool via its website. I have been documenting how my colleagues can use chat history, plus how it interacts with "Pages". Today, suddenly, everything is missing. Of note, here's what I noticed on Microsoft's Learn page about Copilot chat histories... it says that (in "January" 2025) Microsoft will separate out Teams history from Copilot history. So, I'm guessing, they have only been able to do it by brute force and have sacrificed our Histories for their inept SaaS development needs!(?)
