On Windows 10 Pro 22H2, I lost power while performing a whole drive Bitlocker encryption on a USB SSD drive. After rebooting, can't unlock drive (only choice). I get the following error: BitLocker encryptiton on the drive isn't compatible with your version of Windows.

I got lucky and found a repair process that helped me recover most of my data. My .jpeg images can't be read by the system so I will have to look for something to fix them.

However, the process I used was a repair-bde. Here is the syntax I used with my recovery key (not the one in this example)

repair-bde E: F: -rp 062612-026103-175593-225830-027357-086526-362263-513414

Drive E: = corrupted drive

Drive F: = another USB drive with more space than drive E

Bitlocker Encryption Key : Used the one that created and saved I started the bitlocker encryption.

This is the link to my recovery: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/recover-files-inaccessible-bitlocker-encrypted-drive

There is every chance the BitLocker process was corrupt when there was a power failure. If it is corrupted then the data will be lost unless a recovery company can access it.

If the current version of and build of Windows 10 is the latest then the only thing you can do is to delete the partition and start again. (this will result in data loss)
