I've had my Zebra printers for years with no issues. following the 2025-03 Windows 11 Version 24H2 (KB5053598) update I get an error when I try to print. After uninstall the printer, drivers, and installing the latest Zebra driver (Version 5.1.17.7415) Windows 11 does not see or detect the printer. I hear a sound when I connect the USB cable but Windows 11 does not detect the printer. I've tried on 3 different PCs with the same results. The printer works fine on our Windows 10 computers.

    Hello!

Are the other PCs also running Windows 11 version 24H2?

Are all printers connected via USB and shared via Windows, or are they on a network?

Do you get any errors while installing the printer driver? Or after installation, does it simply not appear in Devices and Printers?

    1. Open the Registry Editor and navigate to the path below:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-4

    1. Delete Zebra Printer Drivers > Navigate to next path:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors

    1. Delete the Zebra printer USB Ports in USB Monitor > Navigate to next path:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers

    1. Delete the Zebra Printer > Restart Windows > Install the Driver again.

    Hello Manoel,

Yes all the printers are connected via USB. Your procedure worked liked a charm, we're now printing labels again. Thank you. Turns out that for some reason there were several printers under step 4.

    Thanks you again,

    Danny
