December 2024 to April 12th, 2025 - still no fix..
Bluetooth issue after Windows 11 Update 12/4/24
This issue has happened once before with a Win11 update but not to this extent.
My Bluetooth has not been working correctly since this update. I have tried every solution that I could find in this community, support, YouTube with no solution. I cannot use any BT device including my Silhouette Cameo and my phone. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, updated drivers, restarted this laptop more times than not. The BT will connect to my sound devices but no sound will come out. In these images, SS01 is my soundbar.
From initial update and its restart after, my soundbar connected with no issue but when Netflix played, no sound. I checked the icon tray and see that it's connected. When I went to sound options, I can see that the laptop's speaker is listed and I cannot choose another speaker. I double checked the BT sound devices and all of them can connect. If I try to use a BT dongle, the drivers are updated, devices connect but still no sound. When I look in Device Manager, I have not seen any yellow caution symbols. This is so annoying.

2025-02-24T22:00:10+00:00 Apparently the issue STILL hasn't been fixed even after all of the newer updates have been pushed out. I even tried to use the Bluetooth to try to hook up the sound through 3 different devices and sound won't go through them from my laptop. It's super frustrating because even my business die cutter machine needs Bluetooth and it won't connect. I have no other options or any solutions. I have just been on the lookout for a solution so I can listen to whatever it is on my laptop and use my machine for my business.

2024-12-19T08:29:38+00:00 Sorry the first reply didn't address your question. The Bluetooth issue you are experiencing after upgrading your 24H2 is a known issue and there is no good solution at this time. We recommend that you go back to 23H2, this will delete the data on your computer, please backup your important data before doing this.

2024-12-18T17:48:57+00:00 Thank you for taking the time to respond to my issue. I submitted my issue through the feedback app already. This disruption is definitely having an effect as I need the BT to connect to my die cutter devices. I can't even use a BT dongle to get any connection for any device now. Is it possible to go back to the previous version without disrupting files that have been added since the 12/4 update?
