Q, A, 1, Esc, Tab and ~ keys not working?

I have Windows 11, and sometimes the keys function properly for a few minutes to an hour but I am not sure what is causing such issues.

Important: I don't have a keyboard troubleshooter for some reason and nor do have uninstalling keyboard drivers either.

Another factor is that its not a mechanical issue either.

I had the exactly same problem you've posted.

I solved it partly by going to Task Manager and, under Service option, restart the HIDSERV service.

And that's it. All that same keyboard with issues started working fine.

Here's the site from were I got that idea:

Some keys are not working after windows 11 update - Microsoft Q&A

I was writting this solving post when the "1" keyboard started to non-function again. What a pitty.

But, nevertheless, this improve is better than nothing.

Okay I see, We going to proceed by doing the following fixes to see if that fixes your problem

    1. Reset the key status, by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del then Esc, this often reset the key status
    2. Reconnect the keyboard
    3. Run the troubleshooter

Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters. then select Keyboard

If you have any trouble following any steps or the issue persists let me know!
