How to transfer folders from one drive to home page

Need to transfer folder of music files frome one drive to home page so Sonos can access them. tried to copy but does not work.

    Thank you for your response. If you're looking to get your music folder from OneDrive back to your hard drive, here’s a step-by-step guide you can follow: 

    Option 1: Using File Explorer 

    Open File Explorer and go to your OneDrive folder and locate your music folder. 

    If you see a cloud icon next to the files, they are stored online only > Right-click the folder or files and select “Always keep on this device”. 

    Wait until the cloud icon changes to a green checkmark, indicating the files are downloaded. 

    Once downloaded, you can move the music files to a local folder on your hard drive.   

    Option 2: Using OneDrive Web 

    Visit https://onedrive.live.com and sign in with your Microsoft account > Select the files or folders you want to download > Click Download. 

    The files will be saved to your Downloads folder on your hard disk, and you can move the music files to a local folder on your hard drive.

    It looks like you're trying to let Sonos can access your music folder directly from Sonos's OneDrive homepage without sending a link, the best way is to share the folder and let Sonos add a shortcut to OneDrive. Here's how to do it: 

      1. Share the File

    • Go to OneDrive > Right-click the music file > Share  
    • Add Sonos's email and choose Sonos's permission (Can edit, Can view or Can't download) 
    • Then, click to gear icon (next to Copy link)

    • Choose "Only people with existing access" > Apply > Send  User's image

    2. Sonos adds Shortcut to Homepage 

    Go to OneDrive > Shared (on the left panel) > Find the folder you shared >Choose your file > Click “Add shortcut to My files” 

    Once clicked, the folder will appear in OneDrive homepage under “My files”.

    Additionally, Sonos can use “Always keep on this device” function in OneDrive to make this file available offline on computer. When this option is enabled, the selected file will be downloaded and stored locally, so Sonos can access them even without an internet connection. Here are the steps to enable:  

    • On Windows device > Open File Explorer > Go to your OneDrive folder > Right-click the file > Select “Always keep on this device”. 
    • On macOS > Open Finder > Navigate to your OneDrive folder > Right-click the item > Choose “Always keep on this device.

    Please note: 

    • If the device is connected to the internet > OneDrive will automatically sync the latest version of the file including updates made by you. 
    • If the device is offline > only see the last synced version. Any updates made by you will not appear until Sonos backs online and OneDrive syncs again.
