Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

The Run.vbs error occurs when there's a corrupted system files on the PC, Let us focus on the first error, which is the startup error, then proceed to the next issue, which is the Windows Security. To sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

    For Startup error:

I recommend running Autorun, wherein we will remove unnecessary files that are not in use and are corrupted.

    Go to this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns

    Click "Download Autoruns and Autorunsc"

    Then open and run Autoruns

Delete all highlighted with Pink and Yellow color (If you cannot delete some of those, it is okay to skip)

    For Windows Security:

Reset the Microsoft security by following the steps below:

Open the registry, then go to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender

Then delete the Windows Defender folder, restart the PC, and recheck it.

If none will work from the above solutions work, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade, wherein it will update the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Note: Before doing this, make sure to create a restore point:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/system-protection-e9126e6e-fa64-4f5f-874d-9db90e57645a

    1. Go to this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
    2. Select Download Now, and select Run. You need to be an administrator to run this tool.
    3. On the License terms page, if you accept the license terms, select Accept.
    4. On the What do you want to do? page, select Upgrade this PC now, and then select Next.
    5. After downloading and installing, it should fix the issue.

Let me know how it goes, and I hope that helps.

Please share your Farbar scan logs for analysis.

    1. Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool 64-bit (FRST64.exe)

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears.

See this screenshot: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/media/microsoft-edge-security-download-interruptions/dowload-was-blocked.png. It's a safe tool used in most antimalware forums.

    1. If the OS language is not English, rename FRST64.exe to FRST64English.exe.
    2. Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
    3. Add the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, to a Zip archive, share them on OneDrive or GoFile.io and post the link here.
