My colleague has an intermittent problem receiving calls. Teams goes through phases of not showing any notification or popup when there is an incoming call. This happens on both his PC ap and the mobile ap. They both make an incoming call ringing sound so he can tell there is a call, but there is no popup or notification that actually shows the incoming call and so he has no way to answer it! Sometimes it works fine and the popups show for a call, and sometimes it doesn't - currently it is not working so he can't answer incoming calls! Any ideas how to fix this?

I can confirm that my colleague has all the correct notification settings and he never changes them. So this is not the reason he sometimes doesn't get the popups. Also strange that this occurs on both his PC app and his mobile app.

To make incoming call notifications always show in Teams, you can change the notification settings in Teams. You can select Appearance and Sound > Notification style. You can also turn on the toggle for Show message preview and select Banner and Feed. Lastly, you can change the notification settings by going to Menu > Notifications.

If it is not showing, then you can try reinstalling the app and clear teams cache.
