New pop out as of 10/29/24. When you go to pin a post or to chat, a right side panel pops out. You have to click the top rectangle to push it back. (it shows who is in that chat, what documents are in that chat, etc). How can we turn this off as its a pain in the butt, having to close it each time. It is on chats and on groups.

    Hi Heidi Zimmerman,

Thank you for connecting with us in Microsoft community.

According to your description, I and my other team members were checking few things, but currently there is only there is not any more specific in-built configuration or setting option available to turn off this right side panel after Pinned post or chat.

Furthermore, I also believe this concern requirement should be submitted to the product team on Feedback portal platform so that they can make more unique and specific configuration in Teams application. I do understand your concerns about how it can help you be more productive in your daily work schedule, but since it's related Microsoft 365 product services and features development related concern, and your thoughts and suggestions are important and play a vital role in shaping the future of our product. I believe that the related product team can develop some convenient configuration based on customer requests.

Your feedback is incredibly important for the product developer team as they strive to continuously improve the product and provide the best experience for users. Your unique perspective and suggestions can help shape the future of Microsoft product and make it even better for you and others.

Therefore, Microsoft recommend submitting feedback by going in Ideas · Community (microsoft.com)

This community team and the Microsoft product development team are separate. Therefore, for features suggestions or design queries, users need to submit feedback to the Microsoft product design team from their side. Once a user sends feedback through the above means, it will sent directly to Microsoft and routed to the relevant product team so that can review it to do specific development in product services.

To see more details on how to submit feedback, see this article Learn how to provide feedback to Microsoft - Microsoft 365 adminsMicrosoft Learning.

I hope I have provided you with all the required process information and direction for your current scenario.

I would really appreciate your precious time. Thank you one again for your kind cooperation and contribution.

    Have a good day.
