How to turn on AI-generated notes

Hello,

I've been using Copilot with the license the company provided me and the AI-generated notes option when I schedule a meeting is blocked.

I don't know how to turn it on and it also dosnt allow me to select during the meeting. The only thing I get when I start the transcription and copilot is the summary, but I wanted the notes generated automatically.

Anyone can help?

    Based on your description regarding "How to turn on AI-generated notes" Would you mind offering below information?

    • May I double confirm that Copilot set to on under meeting policies? To check this kindly contact your organization admin to sign into MicrosoftTeams admin center with admin credentials--> choose Meeting policies under Meetings --> Scroll to recording & transcription then make sure that Copilot set to On-->hit Save button
    • May I please know that all user in your organization experiencing this situation, or you are the only one who affected with this?

    By any chance are the meetings you want the AI notes generated Teams Channel Meetings? If so, I think the AI Notes feature only works on meetings scheduled outside of Channel Meetings.

    To answer your question about "does that work only for Teams premium?", The answer, is No, since you have Copilot license Automate notetaking in Microsoft Teams meetings - Microsoft Support [62b0-d7ac-8f1-a942]

    If this affected all user in your organization, kindly check if -IsLoopEnabled set to True Manage Loop components in your organization | Microsoft Learn. If you are still experiencing same behavior while-IsLoopEnabled set to True, I therefore believe that this issue should be further investigated by our online technical support team. A support Engineer can further connect with you remotely, for further troubleshooting and involve the backend team where need be. The team might request for your public IP address or collect certain detailed logs information with more technical resources.     Hi!

    Thanks for the explanation...indeed i have that option disabled, i change it but i am not able to see the option of IA Notes when i am creating a meeting.

    Is there any other thing that must be done. Other thing... does that work only for teams premium?
