Additional features, settings, or issues not covered by specific Microsoft Teams categories
Hello Sudeep V,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you! First of all, I want to extend my appreciation for the clear and thorough way you have described this issue.
As per my general understanding, the issue you're experiencing with Adaptive Cards in Microsoft Teams, where input text clears on page refresh or chat switch, is a known behavior related to how Teams handles state management and page refreshes.
Based on my experience, I've encountered numerous queries quite similar like yours. To retain the input text on page refresh or chat switch before the card is submitted isn't feasible/ there is not any direct way right now. The issue is related to product design. I do understand your concerns about how it can help you be more productive in your daily work schedule, but since it's related Microsoft 365 product services and features development related concern, and your thoughts and suggestions are important and play a vital role in shaping the future of our product. I believe that the related product team can develop some convenient configuration based on customer requests.
Your feedback is incredibly important for the product developer team as they strive to continuously improve the product and provide the best experience for users. Your unique perspective and suggestions can help shape the future of Microsoft product and make it even better for you and others. Therefore, Microsoft recommend submitting feedback by going in Ideas · Community (microsoft.com)
This community team and the Microsoft product development team are separate. Therefore, for features suggestions or design queries, users need to submit feedback to the Microsoft product design team from their side. Once a user sends feedback through the above means, it will send directly to Microsoft and routed to the relevant product team so that can review it to do specific development in product services.
To see more details on how to submit feedback, see this article Learn how to provide feedback to Microsoft - Microsoft 365 adminsMicrosoft Learning.
Moreover, you may also double confirm your query on Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Community Hub. This platform can provide valuable insights and guideline from a broader community familiar with Team's rendering quirks across different versions. Your engagement on Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Community Hub would greatly assist in finding a resolution to this issue.
Thank you in advance for your understanding. Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope all the best!
Sincerely
