MS Teams keep changing the microphone and speaker settings after an hour of work or so.

I have done multiple troubleshooting steps on her device.

  • Updated Teams
  • Reinstalled Teams from new teams exe
  • Run a repair on office apps
  • Cleared Teams Cache
  • Get the user to sign out and sign back her in
  • Ran system updates on the device
  • Can’t see any issue with the network
  • CPU/Memory utilization is normal
  • Restarting the PC fix itself intermittently

The issue was still persistent, so I swapped the device, and it got worse with the 3sec call lag on the newly build device.

Thank you for your response, all this troubleshooting and the issue was the Bluetooth headset, replaced it with a wired one and everything is fixed.
