Support & Feedback Options Gone?

This morning, I went to submit an issue in New Outlook as outlined here, and as I have done multiple times, (even as recently as Monday) and all options to contact support have disappeared from my desktop app. My help menu now only displays the following:

Selecting 'Help' only gives me a god awful non-interactive knowledgebase search.

Microsoft (of course) didn't announce any changes and hasn't updated any documentation on how to get support. I hope this isn't a sign that they feel their 'testing' with the new app is done - there are countless features that are still nonoperational.

Is anyone else seeing this change, or do you still have the option to submit feedback and get support within the app? My version info below.

This same change only came through for me today. Like Ren, I provided feedback as recently as last night and assumed I was too sarcastic one too many times that they finally pulled my ability to tell them how bad the New Outlook is.

    Thanks Eleni,

Unfortunately, my Office apps were just updated the other day. Also, in my Registry I do not have the path you mentioned. I have no 'General' folder

I have tried repairing the app, but it makes no difference.

I am the global IT admin for my organization, and we did not push any changes.

Are we to submit support requests through a different channel now?

    Hi Ren Gramke ,

    Good day.

Thank you for posting to the Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist.

It sounds frustrating to lose access to support options, especially when you’re used to having them available. You’re not alone in experiencing this issue. There have been reports from other users about similar changes in the New Outlook for Windows.

Microsoft has made some adjustments recently, and it seems that the support and feedback options might have been affected. According to the latest information, the only place to share feedback or get support is directly within the app by selecting Help and choosing Support or Feedback.

Here are a few steps you can try:

Update Outlook: Ensure you have the latest version installed. Sometimes updates can resolve such issues.

Check Registry Settings: If you’re comfortable with it, you can check the registry settings to see if any options have been disabled. For example, the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\General might have settings related to the new Outlook features.

Contact IT Admin: If you’re using a work account, your IT admin might have more information or the ability to enable these options.

I hope this helps let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions .

    Best Regards
