How to Forward Multiple Emails at Once and Receive it as Individual Emails?

Hello,

I wanted to know if there is a way to forward multiple emails at once but receive it as individual emails. I need to send a lot of backlog emails to my colleague and it is time consuming when forwarding emails one by one. I am using a Windows laptop and using the desktop app in the new Outlook.

I tried turning off the New Outlook feature and clicked CTRL and selected multiple emails that has an attachment. I then forwarded it to myself to see how I would receive it. I received one email only and the multiple emails I attached came in the email as an attachment. I will be sending multiple emails to one recipient only.

I wanted to receive the email not as one email with attachments but as individual emails. I want to know if there's a way for this? Or is there any other 3rd party app that can do this?

Is rule-based the only method as this is not always the same rule, you want to forward a couple of emails with one instruction to a co-worker. Use to be a function in older outlook? Is this no longer available in the new outlook?

I found this response elsewhere and thought it would be helpful for you.

    1. Select the e-mails that you want to forward
    2. Click on "New e-mail" button.
    3. Click in one of selected items, drag and drop them into the "new e-mail" window.

i have tried this but selected mails will not drag and drop into the new email. The forward button was a great function on the old outlook as we would use this alot! Not having this function is making it very difficult to forward emails in bulk!!

    Hello Jesabel Z,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft community.

Based on the information you provided, I have consulted with a senior member of my team about your situation, and I would like to share some more specific directions with you.

Forwarding multiple emails individually in Outlook can be a bit tricky, but you might achieve this by creating an inbox rule in the new Outlook or a mail flow rule from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

    Using Rules in New Outlook:

    1. Open the new Outlook.
    2. Go to Settings > Mail > Rules.
    3. Click Add New Rule and set your desired conditions.
    4. Choose the action to forward the messages to your colleague’s email address.

For further assistance in creating rules tailored to your specific scenario, your organization's IT administrator might be able to assist. If necessary, they can create a support ticket on your behalf. For this standard procedure, the following is the official documentation that Global Admins refer to: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn (Online option).

Microsoft's back-end support team should collect some more information from Office 365 Global Admin personnel through a remote session to diagnose the current scenario. If needed, a front-line technical support engineer can also have a specific support team investigate some specific situations further.

Please note that we are part of the community support team, and this forum is public. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that we are not authorized to reset or recover accounts due to data privacy policies, and we have limited resources for handling account-related issues. For this reason, I strongly recommend contacting your University's IT administrator or Microsoft 365 for Business support.

Thank you for your understanding, and we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation.

    Wishing you all the best.

    Sincerely
