Resetting a password for a office 365 user I notices that the password field already has a password in it. I change the password, the user can log in,then I go back to password reset and again the password field has characters in them. Was I hacked? is there a policy I can't find? what is going on?

    Hi Jim,

By default the field should be blank when you click the reset password in the console, do you see this for all the users or specific users? Can you create a new test account and follow the same process to see if it set as a password?

If the new test account is fine I would check the affected user.

Do you have any tools or third party products integrated with AAD? HR tool or Management tool?

created new account and it was there. No tools or 3rd party integration with AAD. nothing, just a simple office 365 email with users.

    Hi Jim,

I suggest to check with another GA account to check same process, if it is same I will suggest you to raise a support ticket with Microsoft.
