Hello ,

I am not able to create VM on westus via Azure CLI. I get following error, indicating the SKU is not available.

When I try to list the SKUs available in the region, no VMs are available in that region

Yes, that might happen from time to time. Even Microsoft experiences some trouble getting the hardware right in time.

Your error message states it correctly; actually, Microsoft seems to have some problems with resources available in westus. And then it depends on your subscription. Microsoft will start to restrict free subscriptions to deploy any resources, then continue with students, then with sponsored subscriptions to provide resources for those fully paying customers.

What kind of subscription are you using to deploy this VM? Is it a free or student subscription? Or a Pay-as-you-go subscription?

Maybe try - as suggested - in a different region or wait one day.
