Hello, I sent an email yesterday from a computer that I haven't used in a long time. Yesterday evening and this morning I could see the email in my "Sent" folder on my computer as well as on my iPhone and iPad. However, when I tried to access the email today it had disappeared from my "Sent" folder. Also when I tried to look for it on other devices (iPad and iPhone) for a moment I could see it but then it disappeared in front of my eyes all of a sudden. Moreover I cannot see any trace of it in any of the other folders such the "Trash", "Junk", "Archive" etc... This leaves me wondering if it ever got out at all.

The email in question was sent from a laptop I hadn’t used in months. At one point -forgot whether it was before or after I sent the email- hotmail asked me to authenticate my password which I did, I’m wondering if this could me the reason why this happened. However if not having entered my password before I sent the email was the culprit then I shouldn’t have been able to see my email in the “Sent” folder for a good 12 hours before it disappeared.

If possible, please provide more information as i mentioned above to do better research.
And it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile(Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account for testing to check if there are some differences.
I recommend that you change your password and set up 2-factor authentication on your account.
