SSPR UX - After 90 Days

My organisation soughs clarity as to what the user experience will be for end-users after 90-Days, and if they are require to re-do their SSPR Security questions from scratch?

Unable to find a clear answer on this via own web search.

Thank you for reaching out.

After performing test in my lab I can confirm when users are asked to re-confirm their authentication information they get an option to verify the current authentications methods. While on this page users can either choose to make changes to the current added methods by selecting 'Edit info' or they can choose to select 'Ok' and continue using the existing authentication methods.

I just have one final query, in regards to your findings.

Will end-users always get this prompt each time they open Chrome, Edge, Outlook, etc. And experience a similar UX to registering?

As we wish to add this information to our SSPR FAQ article on the intranet.

Hi @AGT

Yes, user would be interrupted to confirm their authentication information. Once user has confirmed that their security information is up to date by selecting 'Ok' they are no longer prompted for subsequent sign-in's.

If the user does not confirm then they would be interrupted again during the next sign-in.

Additionally, if the user chooses to 'Edit info' then they would be redirected to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info. From there, users can add methods, delete or change existing methods, change the default method, and more.
