Login to Server 2016 Azure Credentials

Hey guys, I'm finding conflicting information about being able to login to a Windows Server 2016+ with Azure credentials.

I saw where this may be possible by using the Azure Domain Services and this would allow me to login to the server using Azure Credentials.

Anyone with any experience with this? I currently have the Azure AD connect tool running on the test server, I was hoping the Azure AD connect tool would work.

I am just wanting to login to the server with my azure credentials instead of local domain credentials. Does that help?

I believe, you want to login to the server with Azure AD instead of local domain, so the solution is to use Azure AD Hybrid

If you can not implement Azure AD Hybrid, then the option is to join your server to Azure AD.

Hi, I do want to log on to the Local Server with Azure AD. I have the Connector Installed. Do I need to put the server on AD Domain Services to be able to do that?

My understanding could very well be wrong, so take it with grain of salt.

AAD DS is designed to enable you to lift and shift your legacy apps into cloud, it's not required for SSO. For SSO between on-prem AD DS and AAD, you just need to properly configure ADC or use ADFS.
