Hi

In Data Preview tab I'm getting a message like "Transformation stream is invalid, fix errors to enable data preview. Click to see errors"

But when I click to see errors there is no errors.

What should I do?

    Hi @Deniz Alkan ,

Thankyou for using Microsoft Q&A platform and thanks for posting your question here.

I understand you are getting error while previewing the data in dataflow , however, the error is not visible . Please correct me if my understanding is wrong. This is kind of transient issue.

Kindly restart your data flow debug session and retry previewing the data again. If it looks good, kindly publish the changes made.

Hope this will help. Please let us know if any further queries.

I had the same issue while creating a Data flow in Azure Data Factory. My source data set was a query that I initially created in SSMS. I solved it by removing all of the columns and replacing them with 1 as 'TEST' so my first line was SELECT 1 as 'TEST'. Retrying the Data Preview after this gave me a result that my ORDER BY was not acceptable without a TOP n within a derived table, inline function, etc. So even though the query worked in SSMS, it has some other constraints when run from within a dataset. So, I simply added a TOP 1000 to my query which was suitable for my needs and it solved the issue for me.
