Disk size not extend in VM while showing extended to 4TB in azure portal?

Hi, I am using Vm on azure and i have extended the disk size upto 4tb on azure portal but my VM still showing 2TB size so please help me to fix it?

    Hi @Anonymous
    You need to extend on operation system too, if you are using windows you need to go to disk manager and expand

    Or run: diskmgmt.msc

    Hi @Jackson Martins i have also done same with that but don't know why my extended space not able to resize to new volume. Here is it the screenshot of my OS too please?

    @Jackson Martins If a disk is 4 TiB or less, you can't expand it beyond 4 TiB without deallocating the VM. If a disk is already greater than 4 TiB, you can expand it without deallocating the VM.

    Thank you guys i think @Jackson Martins 's is right cause i have tried it through CMD as well but unfortunately my partition is about MBR which is causing issue to extend the disk. So Martin have any solution to convert it to GPT safely using 3rd party tool or without loosing data cause the file server is deployed on this vm?
