WSUS server not reporting status to itself

Hyper-V Server2012R2 std - WSUS role

Thai is the VM with WSUS role. All other servers and windows clients are reporting status in to this server. However, this server update client reports failure 0x80240439. in the WSUS console, this server show snot reporting.

I just applied manual update and the 2022-09 Servicing stack update was successfully applied.

How do I clear this?

I tried this and update still fails. I ran Win8.1 windows update troubleshooter and got result that BITS service already started. That is the fault point.

Any thoughts?

Hi!
Fresh installation of wsus.
I see that it doesn't report itself and when I force it to run updates, it returns error 0x8024401c.
Running WU troubleshooter didn't resolved the issue.
I also noticed that the ip was ipv6 and following the advice on the link I disabled ipv6, rebooted but nothing changed. The ip now is displayed as ipv6 loopback address (::1).
After that I modified the "UseWUServer" from 1 to 0 in regedit, then I forced it to check for updates and it worked.
However it keeps not reporting itself. I modified "UseWUServer" back from 0 to 1 as I want it use the wuserver(it's own service) to update itself.

As I understand UseWUServer=1 =>uses WSUS service
UseWUServer=0 uses microsoft update service directly

Can your WSUS server browse to this URL and download the CAB file?

Downloaded the cab file. I then ran second http and crated a service, what do I do now?

Happy New Year!
Also downloaded the cab file and created the service. Nothing has changed all these days.
Other actions I have done:

Ran again WU with error 0x8024401F this time instead of 0x8024401C

Ran the troubleshooting wizard for WU(resulted to unfixed potentially corrupted database error)

Ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and sfc /scannow and rebooted

Ran again WU with error 0x8024401C

I have not activated this windows server yet. Could this be the source of the problem?

However, I do not know how to proceed with it. Any help appreciated
