I am replacing C8055 with C8155. Some of the problems may have to go to Xerox. One of the features I need is the Xerox Accounting.

Problem 1: When I am installing the driver and TCP/IP is select then Xerox driver or Windows changes the setting to IPP device. I am selecting Add Printer using an IP address or hardware, TCP/IP, then just go back and the setting is changed to IPP Device. IPP device driver does not install Xerox Accounting

I am using printer deployment from Windows Server 2019. I have gone through turn off the printer deployment to clear from the servers. Printer deployment does work for about 10 computers so far.

However, I have the problem that the Xerox Accounting PS driver is not deployed to one computer. At first deployments (I used PS and PLC6 drivers) was not working at all, I could not delete the Xerox Printer driver from Printers & Scanner. I did have to go to Device Manager to delete the drivers. Now PLC6 driver will deploy and PS driver drops the Xerox Accounting.

On another computer, I have a number of redirected drivers with the Xerox Accounting dropped. Printer deployment works. How would I determine where the redirection is coming from.

Returning to your first entry and what I referred to as configuration document.

Xerox® V4 Print Drivers & Applications Overview Customer Tip
    Deleting a Print Queue
Important: All print queues tied to a specific print driver must be removed before the print driver
    can be deleted.

    1. Select Settings – Devices – Printers and Scanners from the Start screen.
Note: If Settings is not listed in the Start Window search for Printers and Scanners.
    2. Find the device you would like to uninstall and select
      [Remove device].
    3. Select [Yes] when asked “Are you sure you want to
      remove this device?”
The device will disappear from the Printers and Scanners dialog.

Response: However, the first step did not always work. If the first steps failed to work then go into Device Manager and deleted the printer under Print queues.

    Deleting a Print Driver
Important: Administrator rights are required to delete a print driver.

    1. Stop and Restart the print spooler.
      a. Open a Command prompt as administrator (If ‘Run’ is not listed on the start menu then
search ‘Run’ and then type in ‘cmd’)
      b. Type ‘net stop spooler’ and then select Enter.
      c. Once the spooler is stopped type ‘net start spooler’ and select Enter.
    2. Go to ‘Control Panel’ and select ‘Devices and Printers’.
    3. Within the Devices and Printers window select a printer and select “Print server properties.”
    4. Select the print driver you want to delete and select ‘Remove’.
    5. Select ‘Remove driver only’ and select OK
    6. Click [Yes] when asked to confirm you want to delete the driver.
You have successfully uninstalled the printer and the print driver.

    That fixed problem 1.

Created a Xerox forum account and posted the remaining two problems in Security/Accounting/Auditron. I do not see a lot of answers in the Xerox forum.

I see that 1 out of 3 problems is solved. Still have two to go.

Had reached the conclusion that Printer deployment is not working. In addition, printer deployment does not show printer status. I need to remove printer deployment and install individually on each user's computer.

Talked to Xerox support and there were no answers. Therefore, the answer for problem 12, problem 3 and no printer status is to remove printer deployment and install manually on each user's computer.

DSPatrick first link to a list of documents did included Xerox® V4 Print Drivers & Applications Overview Customer Tip that I used a modified version to clear the printer drivers.

Problem 1 has a solution that I used.
