Hello @ANJU RANI ,
Thanks for using MS Q&A platform.
By default, for any subscription there will be specific limit on the VM cores available per region based on the OfferType. Certain Azure regions require customers to go through a request process in order to gain access. To request access to these regions, a customer or their Cloud Solution Provider may open a support request and work with our Support team to discuss or enable access.
Note: If a SKU isn't available for your subscription in a location or zone that meets your business needs, submit a SKU request to Azure Support (Which is complete at free cost).
You need more cores to created HDInsight clusters (Head Node needs at least 4coreX2
nodes, Zookeeper node 2coresX3nodes
and worker node 8coresX1-N
nodes) .
You will experience this error message
There are not enough cores available to support the selected number of nodes.
when you don't have enough cores available in the region.
While creating the HDInsight cluster you can checkout the core usage per region and if you need more core you can open an HDInsight quota increase support case which is FREE of cost.
For more details, refer to Requesting quota increases for Azure HDInsight.
Hope this will help. Please let us know if any further queries.
