Hello, we are having an issue with internally routed Rich Text Emails with PNG images in the signature. We receive the emails into an Inbox but the POP STAT command returns 0. If we send email from outside onmicrosoft.com domain then they are picked up. Is there an issue with RTF emails in exchange/outlook online?

Do you have issue while using MailKit? Do you have the same problem when using outlook? Could you provide specific information about the issue? -

2022-10-12T16:31:51.947+00:00 Hello, when we send email from a different onmicrosoft domain, I believe the mail is converted to html and so we are able to receive the email through MimeKit. I we send within teh same domain I think the email is still RTF and not supported or something.. Outlook and web ourlook can see the email sitting in the inbox but POP3 STAT commend shows 0. See attached.

Do you have problems with outlook mailbox to send and receive emails? Since we focus on solving Exchange related problems, we do not know much about third-party tools and could not help you much.
You could use Outlook mailbox to send and receive emails and describe the problem you encounter. I will deal with the sensitive information in the picture you provided, after that you may also be careful to hide the sensitive information, thank you! -

Other emails are fine. the POP 'STAT' command is a standard that should return the number of emails in the inbox and it is curious that is does not return the RTF emails with PNG images. We did notice that the settings for Outlook online do not have RTF as an option for email. Is there some virus protection or security that makes these emails not appear to POP commands?

The outlook client has RTF option, and you could use the client to test it.

Could POP read html? If it could, you may convert RTF format in outlook to html format.
