How do I know about the list of keywords that are trending searches (like - this month, last month, overall) in Azure Cognitive Search service?

Thanks for reaching here! You may try using scoring profile for boosting search scores based on criteria. Specify a freshness function on the datetime field and give a range of dates to boost matches. The freshness scoring function is used to alter ranking scores for items based on values in DateTimeOffset fields.

For example, an item with a more recent date can be ranked higher than older items.

For older items, you can demote newer items, using boost factor that is greater than zero, but less than one (0.5 for example).

Consider that users search by city names for holiday packages. I want to know which city name is most frequently searched in this month? which city was trending in search in last month? which city name have the highest searches overall (kind of most favorite destination)?
I think adding the datetime may only provide me information about the recent searches, but not the details about trending/frequent.
