Hi

I have a Azure Data Factory instance where we do not know the existing repo . I am working in live mode as of now. So I have created a new repo in Azure Devops. This new repo is completely empty.

Following screenshot shows how I am setting up the repository.

Now please let me know if I setup this repository and publish through ADF, all the code would be saved here in new repo. I do not have any backup of the Azure Data Factory.

    Hello @Krishnamohan Nadimpalli ,
Welcome to the MS Q&A platform.
Yes, your understanding is correct. Once you set up the repository and publish through ADF, all the code will be saved to the new repo.

You only see the adf_publish and artifacts after you click on publish from your collaboration branch. Once you connect the git repository, your git repo will be empty until you click on publish.

Once we publish the changes from the collaboration branch, then you will see adf_publish and other artifacts.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
