  • Run a System File Scan
  • Check the Windows Update Service is enabled and running
  • Check and Free Up Drive Storage Space
  • Disable (or Uninstall) Third-Party Antivirus Software
  • Clean Boot Windows
  • Manually Download and Install Updates

    You said that the manual install fails too.

    Have you tried to download it from the Microsoft Update Catalog site and then install it.

    Hello,

    The error 0x800f0922 refers to the inability to complete the connection and download of a Windows Update. This means that the system was able to detect the update, connect or start the download, but couldn't finish for one of the next reasons:

    • Corrupted manifest or download part
    • Error stablishing a secure channel connection
    • Not enough disk space to complete the download

    First of all, I would recommend to ensure that you tried with a Administrator permission account, you have disabled any 3rd Party Firewall, Antivirus or VPN. Then the most common solution would be to make a rest of Windows Update components, following the next official article:
