Microsoft azure account hacked

Question

My azure account was hacked and there has been some compute purchasing with a credit card that i do not own as well. I got some emails from MS that there is a suspicious activity on my account so i changed my password immediately. I have tried to open a support ticket but MS has deactivaed my subscription so i can not open a ticket with that account. Now i have got an invoice from MS that i totally dont want to pay because i did not use the stuff.

Thanks for your post! I'm sorry to hear that your account information was compromised. Here are the steps you need to follow to recover the account:

1) If you have additional verification options set up on the account that the hacker cannot access, you can follow the steps here to reset your password.

2) If you already tried the password reset steps, you can fill out the the Microsoft account recovery form to prove your account ownership.

It is recommended to also follow the additional steps in How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account and I can't sign in to my Microsoft account to cancel your subscription and billing if possible.

Since we do not have access to account information in the forums you will need to prove your account ownership and get help from support.
