Hi, I am a beginner for Grafana, and I am trying to create some Alert for our service. When I check the document, it asked me to create rule under side menu Alerting. But when I check our instance, it told me that this is a legacy Alerting. Can you tell me what was wrong and where can I find the help document I need. Thanks.

@Yaxi Zhang Welcome to Microsoft Q & A Community Forum. From the information provided, I assume that you are using older version of Grafana which is why you are seeing the notification "Grafana legacy alerting is going away soon". I would suggest you upgrade the Grafana to latest version which provides you with new unified alerting system.

As per YeGu's answer in another post here, you can email a request to Microsoft to enable the new Unified Alerts (which are way more comprehensive) on your Azure Managed Grafana instance. Well worth doing.

Microsoft haven't gone ahead and auto enabled this on existing Azure Managed Instances as customers using the Legacy Alerts would probably lose them during the transition. Unified Alerts is now on by default if you create a new Azure Managed Grafana instance.
