Guest permissions to create a Function (for PlayFab)?

PlayFab sort of just threw us into the lion's den of Azure without much explanation, so there is a great deal of confusion. Even collaboration -- no one from Azure PlayFab knows how to do it!

As a Guest, I currently am able to attempt to make a Function with the "Virtual Machine Operator" role. I am clearly missing some roles, as when I try to make the Function, I get these errors:

What other permissions am I missing? Thanks.

Hi @i42-dh , thanks for the question! By guest, do you mean an external user I.E @Stuff .com ? Are you a Global Admin? If not, do you know who is? Please review this document on user roles.

Basically, you need your Global Administrator to assign the roles listed in the errors.

Hey @James Hamil - thanks, but the question was what roles do I need? I know how to add them - and know who the admin is. What additional roles do I need to satisfy the errors above, including that "Microsoft.Web" error? Thanks.

(and yes, like @Stuff .com - I'm an outside user - a contractor for a client trying to setup a PlayFab Function).

Figured that one out after some pretty intense research: Needed to add subscriptions->resource providers->Microsoft.Web..

However, the final screen fails with another error that, once again, tells me the PERMISSION missing, but not the ROLE needed to fulfill this permission:

The client 'x' with object id 'y' does not have authorization to perform action 'Microsoft.Storage/register/action' over scope '/subscriptions/z' or the scope is invalid. If access was recently granted, please refresh your credentials. (Code: AuthorizationFailed) (Code: AuthorizationFailed)
