Hi, I’m currently using Azure Communications Services to send SMS notifications for a customer but I noticed that when adding a URL or an hyperlink, I’m not receiving the text message on my test device and I can’t figure it why, is this not supported by ACS? Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous , thank you for reaching us, and sorry for any inconvenience that happened because of this.

Sending URLs by using Azure Communication Services (ACS) SMS is supported if it is not violating any rules (For example, phishing links, shortened URL by a free publicly shortener services, selling alcohol, drugs, ...). You can find more information here messaging-policy and here How to send shortened URLs in messages

That said, if you are not violating any rule, you need to get your number verified before you are able to send any URL in the SMS content. You can find more information about Toll-free Verification (TFV) process here Toll-free Verification

So, can you please start the TFV process which will help to enable you to send URLs in SMS messages.
