Attachments broken in Outlook for iPhone in latest update

The latest update to Outlook on iOS has completely broken the ability to attach files using the Share option or when composing a new message. I was able to test this by using a device that did not receive the latest Outlook update - it worked fine. After updating the app attachments no longer work.

To recreate the issue:

  • Open Photos app, select a photo, share to Outlook, enter any email address (or send to yourself), and then tap Send. App immediately closes (crashes).
  • Open Outlook, compose new email, attach Photo or File, send to yourself. You will receive the email without any attachments.

I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this issue. Perhaps it's an issue between the latest update and App Protection Policies (our policies are not strict and do no prohibit these activities).

Details:
iPhone 12 (iOS 16.0)
Outlook app version 4.2245.0
Exchange Online with App Protection Policies (no restrictions)

Confirmed there's an issue. I should have checked the Service Health in our Microsoft tenant.
