I have recommendation to enable SQL Server assessment, are enable this assessment will create extra cost?

SQL vulnerability assessment is part of the Microsoft Defender for Cloud offering, requires Microsoft Defender for SQL plan to be able to run scans
Microsoft Defender for Cloud is free for the first 30 days, any usage beyond 30 days, the pricing, you can see this page:

Thanks for your information
If we see in this pic this mean the defender for SQL is enable, right? There is 7/7 instances protected but actually we only have 6 SQL server, so why there are different?

Also with that situation, if we have recommendation to enable the assessment there is no extra cost, am i rght?

Hi,

Yes, this situation is no extra cost

The Microsoft defender for SQL Server on machine is including SQL server hosted in Azure, multicloud environments, and even on-premises machines
