Hello,

I recently created 5 new AD accounts which automatically creates personal Office accounts. Everything went well and these accounts were shorlty after active in Office365 as well. I then assigned them all a 365 license.

When I gave access to my new users to log on, I got reports that the account was locked, saying the following.

"Your account is temporarily locked to prevent unauthorized access. Try again later, if the issue presists contact your administrator."

I've seen some troubleshoot threads around and followed them without success.

The troubleshooting i've done thus far:
Reset password in AD.
Reset password in 365 Admin portal.
Verified that the accounts are nog blocked in the 365 Admin portal.
Tried blocking and unblocking the accounts in the 365 Admin portal.

None of which worked for me. I can't seem to find any other suggested solutions.

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

/ChrisW

    Hello @Christian W

Thank you for reaching out. I would request you to please validate if the accounts on AD are not expired or locked. If the accounts are locked on-prem please unlock them and initiate a delta sync to fix the issue.

I hope this helps with issue you are facing.
